## St. John's wouldn't be the same without our wonderful and devoted Parents Club.

Every family automatically becomes part of this caring community when your child enrolls, and there are many ways to get involved based on your interests and availability.

## How Parents Club Makes a Difference

Parents Club works closely with faculty and staff throughout the year to purchase much-needed classroom supplies and fund special projects that enhance your child's learning experience. Beyond practical support, we create opportunities for families to connect through fundraising events and service projects that bring our community together while giving back to the local area.

## Major Fundraising Events

### Eaglefest

Our annual fall festival is our biggest fundraiser and most beloved community event. Held right here at school, Eaglefest features family-friendly activities, food, games, and entertainment while raising funds that support Parents Club programs throughout the year. There are volunteer opportunities for every comfort level, from setup and cleanup to managing activity booths.

### St. John's Social

This adult-focused event brings parents together while raising additional funds for classroom supplies and special school projects. It's a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect in a relaxed setting while contributing to causes that directly benefit our children's education.

## Getting Involved

### Homeroom Parents

Teachers select homeroom parents at the beginning of each year to coordinate the special touches that make school life memorable. This role includes organizing teacher gifts, planning classroom parties, coordinating chapel programs, managing May Day costumes, and creating class crosses for Flowering of the Cross ceremony. Homeroom parents collect a small fee to cover expenses and assign committees for larger events, so no one person handles everything alone.

### Other Volunteer Opportunities

There are countless ways to contribute throughout the year, from event setup and food coordination to behind-the-scenes administrative help. Many parents enjoy working on planning committees for major events, coordinating service projects, or helping with teacher appreciation activities. The beauty of Parents Club is that there's truly a place for every parent, regardless of schedule or comfort level.

## Leadership

Parents Club is led by a President, Vice President, and Treasurer who coordinate activities and work with school administration. Officers are selected every two years by outgoing leadership, and we look for parents who are committed to St. John's mission and excited about bringing families together. Leadership experience is helpful, but enthusiasm and dedication matter most.

## Getting Started

If you're new to St. John's, attend a Parents Club meeting or connect with your child's homeroom parent to learn about opportunities. Start with events that interest you and gradually increase involvement as you discover where your skills can be most helpful. For current officers' contact information, check the school directory or contact the main office.

Remember that every contribution matters, whether you can volunteer weekly or help with one event per year. Your involvement helps make St. John's the strong, caring community that benefits all our children.
